Developing Mental Toughness for Leadership
In this course, I gained valuable insights into the importance of mental toughness or resilience for leaders in today’s dynamic environment. Richard Gerver, drawing from his experiences with successful sports and business organizations, emphasized the role of mental toughness in leading through change and fostering high-performing teams. He shared compelling stories and examples, illustrating strategies such as leveraging failure for confidence, acknowledging and celebrating successes, breaking down silo thinking with new experiences, and cultivating self-efficacy.
