My Interests
I was raised to be committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle so I have always practiced a sport since my young age. Like every kid in my country, I started off by playing soccer. Then I developed a passion for basket ball by first watching the NBA games on TV and by joining my High School Basket Ball team. Since I came to the US, I still watch Basket Ball but I don’t play as much anymore as I decided to experiment weightlifting. I have been regularly going to the gym for 3 years now and I am planning to start giving private lessons by August 2017.
Other than sports, I am enthusiast about entrepreneurship. I have worked in several startups and what excite me are the dynamics of new ideas and the positive impact they can have on people’s lives. I am in the process of establishing my own venture in my home country because I believe taking the initiative to innovate is what is going to make the difference for us underdeveloped countries. So I always looking for new ideas and opportunities. It is also the reason why I decided to pursue my studies in technology as it is the field at the cutting edge of innovation. It is bettering fields like agriculture, education and health and those are what we need in my home country more than ever.
