About Me
Welcome to my E-Portfolio!
Hello! My name is Silvia and I am a senior MIS student at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA to two hard-working, immigrant parents who have inspired my passion for education and helping others in need. They are IT professionals and have inspired me to pursue the field.
Ever since I wrote “Hello World” in my first line of code in Spring 2020 in my introductory MIS course, I immediately fell in love with coding and MIS. The next few months became a whirlwind as I launched myself into the world of technology and business. I switched my major to MIS and spent the summer learning the basics of the MIS field, attending countless webinars, and implementing new technologies at my job.
I have a strong work ethic, I am innovative, and I look forward to launching my career and showing the world what I am capable of.
