Añejo Philadelphia | August 2021 – Present
I started working at Añejo as a part-time server once I moved to Philadelphia. I work about 20 hours a week, and provide an excellent dining experience to each customer. A typical shift for me involves cleaning up the restaurant before the brunch/dinner rush, learning about the specials for the day, and preparing to serve my tables. Serving has exposed me to learning good communication skills, customer service, and to confidently pitching sales when I am serving my tables.

During this time, I worked at a local recruiting agency in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where I conducted interviews, inputted and maintained accurate records into the database UltraStaff, and selected the best candidates for the company affiliates. As many recruiting agencies were struggling during the pandemic to find people to work, I also provided insight on creating new marketing campaigns through social media to increase community engagement.
