Leading When You’re Not in Charge
This activity was sponsored by Pete Mockaitis, who coaches others on “how to be awesome at your job.” This LinkedIn Learning course talked a lot about how important leadership is in the workplace, and how you can become a leader without necessarily having authority. I learned that it is helpful to ask other what your weaknesses may be, and how constructive criticism from others is one of the best things you can ask for. I also learned that being a positive influence on others is a form of leadership. This activity relates my career goals because I hope to use these skills in my future job.
