We visited a local wholesale market in New Delhi. We could see how middlemen were thriving in this market just by facilitating trade between farmers and buyers. Also, the network of wholesale merchants was helping farmers to store their harvest at minimal price. This is a great area for social entrepreneurs to improve the efficiency of commerce chain or to reconfigure the commerce chain.
