During this webinar, Alan Phan, along with his colleagues, discussed what exactly an IT auditor is and what their job entails. They also discussed the role of IT audit and specifically what they do at Chubb, an insurance company. IT auditors look over a lot of peoples work and make sure everything is running properly. They make sure that nobody is doing anything unethical and wrong. The role of auditors is to help ensure the integrity of financial data. They make sure that the company can rely on their systems. Chubb works with PWC to mitigate any issues within the system and make sure it is worth it. A common skill that IT Auditors have is to close attention to detail. They want to make sure that they never miss anything.
