AIS Mentorship Program: Fall 2020
For my first time doing the AIS Mentorship Program, I was paired with David Repole. The program helped me massively in professional development, and getting to know how the MIS program works in Temple. I remember I had many doubts before entering the mentorship program. I didn’t know how the Pro Points system worked, I had many questions about AIS (as it was my first semester getting involved), etc. Although we didn’t meet as often, David helped me a lot since the start of the program. We started by setting up my goals (short and long term). In the next meetings, David showed me how to make my resume look more professional and taught me how to use handshake to apply for internships. For the last meeting we had a conversation on my classes and the teachers. David was especially helpful with recommending teachers for MIS classes.
