Private Equity Intern
Tenaz Capital Co. is an investment and management company that acquires, supports, and operates lower middle market businesses. I currently work as a private equity intern for the firm and have had the ability to work directly with the managing director to support deal flow. I have helped by building financial models and reviewing sector-specific information in order to better understand the industry. From this experience, I was able to see a more in-depth view of the private equity space and how students with an MIS background could also help financial services firms through the use of VBA and other software.
