What you learned: During the 24-hour summit I attended two speaker events. They dove into qualifications needed in IT and the environment of technology. Becoming a DIVA was something that was brought up. The acronym DIVA was used to describe Data Insights, Visualization, and Analytics to visualize and communicate your work in an attractive and interesting way.
relates to coursework/career goals: Data analytics is a course I am currently taking, and data visualization is another career direction I have been considering. Just getting to know like-minded and similar professionals in the field was a very helpful resource in becoming more familiar with the topic.
