Full Time Cyber Security IT Intern at AmerisourceBergen Corporation
The cyber security internship that I have had this summer at AmerisourceBergen has been a very valuable experience. The company culture is extremely inviting and the company’s associates are not only talented, but humble. I have been given several opportunities during this time, including using cutting-edge threat intelligence software to investigate and analyze internal and external threats to the corporation. Furthermore, I have been able to share my ideas with senior leaders, who give excellent guidance and advocate for each member on the cyber security team.
Aside from the cyber security skills that I have acquired, I have learned a great deal about AmerisourceBergen as a corporation through completing a group project on the ITIL lifecycle, a concept that AmerisourceBergen revolves around. My group’s focus was “continuous service improvement”, and our product was a streamlined process for associates to obtain a loaner laptop.
I am very thankful for the many wonderful experiences that I have had this summer, especially finding my passion for cyber security.
