Technology & Video Games
I love technology, working with computers, and playing video games. I grew up with video games and remember playing many classic games on the Nintendo SNES such as Mario. As I got older, my preferences changed to primarily online games. Currently in my free time, I enjoy playing some of the most popular online games today such as League of Legends and Counter Strike. My exposure to video games at a young age definitely helped develop my love and interest for technology and computers. Recently, I have built my own computer which was a cool and rewarding experience. I’m currently self-teaching myself how to program and will spend my leisure time this summer to try and develop a simple application. I believe that programming will be a very valuable skill to have in the future because of the constant changes in technology.
Basketball
Basketball has been my favorite sport while growing up. The rush of adrenaline and feeling when hitting a clutch three point shot is an amazing experience. I also really love the team aspect of the sport and how each player plays an important role in the team. One of my favorite basketball team would be the San Antonio Spurs because they epitomize how basketball should be played. The way they share the ball and show selflessness on the court is incredible. I really look forward to this year’s NBA playoffs because of the interesting potential match-ups and upsets.
