SEER OPEN HOUSE: IN SEARCH OF OUR NEXT GREAT INTERNS
On November 9, 2018, I attended a career fair for Seer Interactive. Seer is a digital marketing company located in both the west and east coast. At this event I got to tour Seer\’s Northern Liberties headquarter\’s and talk to two people from each of the seven teams Seer has divided their company into. These seven teams consist of search engine optimization, PPC, paid social, analytics, conversion rate optimization, and creative. Each team gave me background information on the role they played at Seer and the tools and certifications that would be useful to have if I were to ever work in that field. After talking to each team, I left knowing that I wanted to pursue a career in analytics or user experience design. This career fair was very helpful for me because it gave me insight on all the possible careers that are available for MIS major\’s.
