Cybersecurity Professionals: The New Warfighters for National Security Webinar
In this event Rodney Newton focused on topics like the Department of Defense, the Need for Cybersecurity, The Role of IT Audit Professionals, and Opportunities for IT Audit Professionals. For example, in the DOD section of the meeting, Newton showed us some defense tactics and why we need cybersecurity, he focused on things like Data Breaches, Espionage and Cyberattacks to gain the audience’s attention. Some of the risks he discussed were, weapon systems vulnerabilities, supply chain risks, loss of strategic advantages, and even financial costs. This was a great event and is very interesting to anyone who has interest in the cybersecurity world.
