IT Audit Internship with Wells Fargo Audit Services
Wells Fargo is a financial institution based in San Fransisco, California.
During my 10 week internship, I learned how to work in a corporate setting while interacting with co-workers in person and virtually through video chat and conference calls. I also learned about internal auditing and how its goal is to make sure all risks are mitigated properly and accounted for within the many different lines of business Wells Fargo is involved in. I worked on one audit during the summer, where I wrote a Test of Design work paper for one of the control objectives. I worked as an IT Audit Intern during my time at WFAS, which included working on an audit and running a conference call with all of the other interns and associates in our department.
