Career Aspiration
Being an Accounting major I believe that not getting your CPA certification is not working towards your best. I am currently pursuing my 150 credits to become a CPA and work in the field. For now most of my experience have not been in the professional context but I plan to change this soon. At the moment I am interviewing with several of the Big 4 as well as several large companies outside of the public accounting field but still as an accounting professional. Although these are only internships and leadership programs, I hope they transition into full time offers to kick-start my career.
I have also begun to look at the possibilities of a career as an investment banker, but that’s a whole other path.
