Centro: State of Education
This was a webinar by Centro discussing the impacts of COVID-19 on our education system. Due to this pandemic college are seeing large drops in their margins. This is due to the inability to have in-person school. Many are making large budget cuts and other methods of cost reduction to stay afloat. Aside from the obvious financial hardship this is placing on colleges, it does bring some good. This is now normalizing different ways of teaching such as hybrid and remote teaching. Now that everyone has had a taste of online classes, many more people will be open to this sort of method. Online colleges will likely see a spike in attendance after this.
