- Attended weekly stand-ups with internal team members and partnered clients
- Reported on necessary metrics required to build out KPI dashboards
- Performed data checks on database consisting of 120 tables specific for this project
- Performed SQL queries to extract desired metrics
HR Predictive Analytics/People Analytics
- Researched on issues regarding current employee resignation and future employee renege
- Built prototype of deep learning model to generate a Retention Score for existing employees and an Organization Fit Score for future employees
During this internship, I demonstrated skills of self-motivation through the research and discovers shared with my co-workers and supervisors. Started to develop my skills in Python, which was a completely new coding language for me, and this would be useful as a move forward with the Python analytics course in the Fall. I continued to polish my knowledge and skills in SQL. The big takeaway from this internship was really pushing myself to do the work even though I had no prior knowledge and try to become an expert in order to share what I’ve learned. I feel as though this is an important skill not only in my courses but at my future jobs.
