The Essence of Belonging: Being Your Authentic Self in Professional Services
On Wednesday, September 19th from 6:00-8:00 PM, Ernst & Young sponsored a diversity and inclusiveness event in the Alter Hall Undergraduate Commons. This event showcased the firm’s values and includes a panel with professionals currently working for EY. I learned about techniques these professionals have taken to staying true to their personal values while fitting into an organization’s culture. I have accepted a job in risk advisory services at Ernst & Young, and this was a valuable experience for me to hear from future colleagues about their experiences at the company. The event ended with a networking session, which was a great opportunity for me to meet with future colleagues, as well as share my internship experience with other current students.
