Interests
Music
Music has always been a passion of mine, and I have been actively involved since the age of 10. At Temple, I am a member of the flute section in the Diamond Marching Band, and also participate in the honors music fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota.
Travel
In Summer 2015, I began my International travels touring with American Music Abroad. On this tour, I spent three weeks traveling Europe, visiting various towns and cities around France, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. I also performed concerts for the local populations with the band and orchestra as the principle flute. In Spring 2017, I studied abroad for 4 months in Tokyo, Japan, which you can read more about on my Study Abroad page.
Foreign Languages
I have always been passionate about learning foreign languages. I spent four years studying Spanish in high school, in addition to a year of French. I also participated in an accelerated Chinese basics course at Kutztown University in the Summer of 2014. Currently, I am studying Japanese at Temple University, and lived with a host family during my study abroad experience in order to improve my conversational skills.
