Through my Six Semesters in the Fox School of Business, I have taken many relevant and applicable courses. Listed below are the relevant courses and what was mastered:
Enterprise IT Architecture (MIS 3406)
- Development and deployment of Domain Name Systems (DNS) & File Sharing (FS) servers on MS Azure.
- Utilize the Windows Command Prompt to call personally programmed Node.js code.
Digital Design and Innovation Studio (MIS 3506)
- Business Analysts Aspects: 1. Working with stakeholders, 2. The elicitation techniques of a Business Analyst, 3. Team Work and Delegation process.
- Project Work Aspects: 1. Designing throwaway and functional prototypes, 2. Developing use cases and personas, 3. Creating relevant documentation and professional presentations.
Systems and Infrastructure Life Cycle Management (MIS 5203)
- Information System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Models: Waterfall (spiral and iterative), Structured System Analysis and Design Method (SSADM), Rapid Application Development (RAD), and Agile.
- Project Planning and Management: work breakdown structure/tasks/cost, the roles of a project manager (managing, documentation, contractors), and Microsoft Project.
IT Governance (5202)
- Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of data with regards to the auditing of an organizations Information System assets.
