MY EXPERIENCE

Warehouse Specialist, Angelo’s Soccer Corner. I spent four months at Angelo’s Soccer Corner in the summer of 2012. My job duties included taking count and keeping tabs on incoming product, separating certain amounts of product for orders, restocking shelves, heat pressing numbers, names and logos on different types of apparel, selling retail at major sporting events, packing out huge club team orders, and shipping the final product. Furthermore, I helped to make sure operations ran smoothly.

Bus Boy and host, Zia Maria Italian Restaurant and Pub. This was my longest and most challenging work experience. For 18 months, I worked shifts clearing dishes off tables, cleaning tables and chairs, and mopping up spills. On occasion I assisted with customer complaints and helped create positive solutions. Food service thrives off communication between servers and the kitchen staff, and although my job involved mostly cleaning, I was the key for relaying messages to keep things running smoothly.

MY FUTURE

Post graduation. After graduation, I would like to get a job in the IT sector. Before I can decide on a career path, I plan to gain more knowledge and experience through classes and internships.
