Course work and career interest
Through out the MIS courses I’ve taken so far, I must say they are more difficult than I anticipated. MIS 2502 helped me learn about the basics of R and how to use it for data analysis. MIS 3501 taught me basic web development skills, such as creating database on phpmyadmin, and connecting my projects to the class server. Both courses also taught me the basics of SQL, which is widely used in the data analytics industry. By taking these two classes, I am now more prepared in the MIS field because I learned to use some of the most important programs. I want to further my skills by continuing to learn more advanced features on my own.
