internship experience
During this semester, I had the privilege of interning at PhillyTech, which is a start up consulting company. My daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work directly with the CTO to assist startup and technology based companies with projects
- Modify and update existing database to ensure information is current and correct
- Create campaigns personalized for each client for guaranteed satisfaction
This internship helped me sharpen my data gathering/ analytics skills through daily uses of excel, angel list, and data base administrator only privileges. I feel more prepared for my future jobs because I am more fluent with excel functions, such as pivot tables, goal seek, and other calculations. By working directly with the CTO and meeting with board members of other companies, I gained insights in how to start my own company and how to lead meetings. All of our clients are heads of their own companies, so I got to interact with executive board members and made great connections for the future.
