MIS2502: Data Analytics Extra Credit Assignment
This professional points activity involved writing a one-page research paper on a topic we had not studied in-depth in class. I chose to research big data, and titled my paper Big Data: Pushing the Boundaries of Knowledge, which can be accessed by clicking on the link at the top of this page. Working with big data is a significant part of being an MIS professional, as it is pivotal in solving many problems a company might face. In completing this activity I realized how useful the analysis of big data can be for a company looking to further their success.
