Technical Development Application Workshops
As part of being an MIS student at Temple I’ve been an active member of AIS and regularly have attended their TDAP workshops for two semesters. TDAP which covered various technical skills like Tableu, Power BI, Excel, and SQL. As part of attending TDAP we had to complete a coding language course on codecademy which featured languages like HTML, CSS, PHP, Python, Java, etc. Through these workshops I was able to get a preview of all the coding languages used in the IT world. These workshops are interesting to an MIS student because these are skills that could attract prospective employers. These are skills that are used and needed in the business and IT world because of how fast information technology has been advancing.
