Fox IT Awards
The Fox IT awards is a reception where innovator, leader, and distinguished alumni awards are awarded to a committee comprising of the senior leadership at Fox, the Fox IT advisory board, and previous recipients nominates and selected individuals for the awards like students.
I attended the IT awards for the first time in the Spring of 2017 and it was a great experience. I feel regret for not attending the previous ones but I plan to attend again in Spring of 2018. This event is interesting for an MIS student because it sets a bar and standard you hope to achieve, the MIS program at Temple is highly ranked in the nation and these are some of the best getting rewarded. This inspires me to one day hopefully be part of a reception like this where I receive an award. The event was also interesting because many employers attended the event and if you wanted to, could have connected with them in hopes for future employment.
