President/CEO

Vitris is a software as a service (SAAS) company located in center city Philadelphia. Vitris’ main product is a management platform for small service based businesses (electricians, plumbers, etc) that utilizes the information from the operations of the business to maintain their dynamic e-commerce website. Vitris’ goal is to provide entrepreneurs with the tools they need make their dreams come true. They believe being an entrepreneur is one of the most important jobs out there, so they strive to be an ongoing source of value for users both on and off the screen.

As the President/CEO of a sub 10 employee company I have my hands in everything. I continue to learn and read industry research to stay on top of the latest trends both on a day-to-day basis and for the company vision as a whole. I relay that information to the development team to ensure we’re employing the latest standards and maintaining a cutting edge product. As with most companies, without sales the lights go off so I also manage the sales and marketing team to ensure we hit sales goals month over month. To maintain control and increase cash-flow I submit our business plan and pitch decks to start up competitions, to date we’ve raised $40,000+ in rewards. Additionally, I meet with venture capitalist and consultants in Philadelphia to expand growth and continue adding talented people to our expanding development team.

My time studying management information systems helped build a foundation for applications development, systems architecture, and project management. Internet development is a quickly evolving space, the application development courses I took helped me understand why we’re doing certain things today like mobile responsiveness and async javascript because our professor went back to explore its early development with us. By understanding the why and how behind technologies that just seemed like “magic” before has allowed me to continue improving what others have built in the past instead of just utilizing the technologies has they are today.
