“Being an entrepreneur is like eating glass and staring into the abyss of death” – Elon Musk.
When Elon Musk said this, he wasn’t lying. Being an entrepreneur has given me some of the best, and some of the worst moments of my life. It’s brought me many ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade the life of an entrepreneur for anything.
About two years ago, I founded Vitris. At Vitris we connect consumers with broken smartphones and tablets to repair shops. We allow customers to compare a list of shops by price, customer rating, and location without having to go through the hassle of endless Google searches and comparisons. Vitris makes getting your phone or tablet repair quick, easy and convenient. Since forming Vitris, myself along with my team have raised $80,000 in capital, $20,000 coming from Temple University’s renowned Be Your Own Boss Bowl Competition, where this past April we came in first in our division.
Since founding the company at 21-years-old, I have learned a lot about business and the world. As Vitris continues to grow, I hope to continue learning about the the world and creating a meaningful impact.
My goal is to continue studying data structures and distributed ledgers, as they relate to web technology evolution. I’ve positioned Vitris to utilize these technologies and be ready when they become more widely accepted.
