Project Manager/Lead Developer
As the President of Vitris Wireless, LLC I wear many hats. During the spring semester I was the lead developer and project manager as we built our cloud based application for device repair service providers.
My main responsibilities were:
- Keeping the lines of communications open between our 5 person development team to avoid conflicts when merging code together.
- Developing user stories to prioritize what aspects of the application to build first and in what sequence.
- Researching different available javascript frameworks to build our application on. Doing a pro vs con analysis to find the right fit for our situation.
- Setup the servers that run the application and route the DNS so customers visiting our websites were directed to the correct location.
- Plan and built the database architecture to optimize our storage and allow for the largest amount of data to be collected from our users.
