Volunteering Duckery Elementary
As a part of AIS (Association for Information Systems), I had the opportunity to volunteer at a local elementary school. It was a great experience getting to spend time and talking to students of various ages. Getting the chance to sit down at lunch and talk about college and future goals for all the kids.
Fall Connection – Career Fair
Going to the career fair and being able to network with prospective employees it vital. It allows you to be able to gauge the company, the people, and the job. On the other hand, companies get a chance to put a face on a resume. It was a great experience attending fall connects and being able to talk to employers about culture or day-to-day responsibilities.
