PizzaBot – Simple Chatbot
As a part of MIS 3501, Data-Centric Application development for additional out of class work we were challenged to create a simple chatbot. Using HTML/CSS for layout and php, javascript and SQL I was able to accomplish that task and create Pablo. A simple Pizza order taking robot. Using basic programming concepts and methods Pablo can interact with a user. Using functions and predefined instructions Pablo stores input strings and then evaluates the input string and provides a response. Being powered by a database Pablo changes his response based on the data in the database. Interacting with a database to provide different types of pizzas, toppings, and sauces. Then compiling an order based on the user’s inputs.
