Digital Risk Solutions Advance Intern
- In this role, I completed various training courses and connected with current professionals and other interns.
- Because the length of the internship was commuted from 8 weeks to 2 due to COVID-19, I did not have the chance to work on any real client projects. To simulate this, we were given a sample risk evaluation and planning case which I completed with a group of a few other interns and presented to a panel of DRS professionals.
- In this virtual program, I had the opportunity to learn technologies including UIPath for Robotic Process Automation, Alteryx for data cleaning (which is super similar to Tableau Prep, as learned in the Data Analytics course in Fox MIS), and Tableau, which I used in Data Science at Temple and in various data analytics competitions. I also had the opportunity to complete the Human Centered Design badge on Acclaim, which closely mirrors the Digital Solutions Studio course curriculum, including steps in the HCD process and agile methodologies.
