Lead Analyst | Energy & Utility Coverage January 2021 – May 2021
•Led a team of 5 students conducting fundamental research and identifying undervalued equities for a student-run virtual equity portfolio
•Utilize industry software, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and Thomson One to perform fundamental research and industry analysis within the energy & utility sector of the S&P 500
•Assist in the creation of initiating coverage reports detailing all aspects of a target company’s business, including investment thesis, catalysts, valuation, financial and industry analysis, risks, and generate a 52-week price target
During the semester I pitched two companies, first EOG Resources. It was a mini-pitch written individually. The second was Chevron (CVX), written by the whole energy team of 5 students that I led.
