Student Worker/Imaging Support on the Workflow and Imaging Team at Temple Computer Services
Some things I’ve learned at this position include how to configure database connections between between imaging software and a document management system, manage those database connections, efficiently navigate document management systems , install software on a server, write Javascript to implement custom indexing and separation logic, and effectively collaborate with coworkers to solve technical problems.
The Computer Services department at Temple manages a variety of computing services offered across Temple University including the Center City and Ambler campuses. This includes things such as the TUportal as well as different document management systems and imaging software. My role responsibilities include configuring and testing new imaging software for the computer services department so that it can be rolled out for use across Temple University campuses.
