Building a website
This was my favorite MIS project because it involved putting all of my MIS experience to the test to create a fully functional real-estate tracking website. The project required us to use PHP, Javascript, jQuery, HTML and CSS to create a fully functional housing website that allowed both renters and landlords to conduct business. The site allowed landlords to post new properties, communicate with renters and manage information. It allowed renters to view properties and communicate with landlords and educate themselves about their investment. The site was a platform for both landlords and renters to interact and share data with one another. This project was extremely beneficial because it helped me develop a passion for development which led me to explore other similar projects.
