System Administrator Intern
- As a System Administrator Intern, I assisted local and remote users with their IT-related issues, completed IT tickets, updated the files and documents shared on the network, and supported daily IT operations and maintenance of hardware/software.
- One of many projects I completed while working at MCP Homecare Solutions, was successfully helping to redesign the company’s outdated website with skills I learned in my previous MIS classes.
- Using what I learned in MIS 3506 about UX design and MIS 2402 coding, I was able to aid in building a new website for the company using java and HTML in WordPress. From this project, I learned more about website designing using Norman’s concepts of UX design in WordPress and how to use web host and domain registrar.
