American Marketing Association
During the 2014-2015 academic year, I will be the Secretary of the American Marketing Association (AMA). My role serves as the liaison between our organization and Temple Student Government. I will attend all Temple Student Government meetings and report allocation points. Allocation points are important because they are the equivalent to money that can be used for the organization’s events. I am also in charge of writing event blurbs and taking pictures for every speaker session or program held by AMA. I will play a larger role in communication by writing AMA’s listserv, which lists the organization’s events, meetings, important news, and internship opportunities that is emailed to all AMA members. I will work closely with the Media Relations Director to select blog posts that can be used for the weekly newsletter distributed at the general assembly meetings.
