Fashion and Business Club
FAB is the only club in the Fox School of Business that talks about the fashion industry and the operations behind it for a brand to launch successfully. Through fashion events and guest speakers, FAB members learn about different brands, get to meet designers and owners of brands, are given insight on how to start a line, and discover what work is involved in making that brand successful. Recently, FAB attended the University of Pennsylvania’s Fashion Week where College Fashionista and Barney’s NY were holding events. Industry workshops are held in Center City, Philadelphia where members can be educated on garment construction, buying fabrics, how to sell to retail stores for next season, and more about the distribution process in the industry. Speakers will also extend their help by giving their contact information or informing members about available internship opportunities.
