Urban Princess Boutique
Over the summer, I had the opportunity to assist IBIT with their small business projects. I was placed on a team with Kunal Duggal (advisor) and Julia Petiteau. We had the task of updating their website with a number of best selling products from their store, as well as integrating their eCommerce site to their in-store POS system, which was Square. During this updating period, we reconfigured their site to make it more user friendly, as well as created different categories that made shopping easier for the buyer. We also taught the client how to upload products and utilize their Google analytics. We integrated their eCommerce site with their Square POS system successfully, as well as transformed their site, providing the client with an updated online look that made shopping easy. We helped streamline their news letter through Squarespace by consolidating emails into one main location that could be accessed through Squarespace. I learned necessary soft skills such as how to work and communicate effectively with the client, receive feedback and adapt to changing plans, plan out and discuss potential updates to the site with the client and my team, as well as work with my team to successfully implement these changes. I am so grateful for this opportunity, and look forward to another project.
