Synchronized Swimming
When most people hear that I was a synchronized swimmer, they often wonder how I became involved in the sport. I have always been interested in dance and things that allow me to be creative. When I first saw the swimmers in action, I wondered how people could stay under water for so long and coordinate their movements. It was something I had never seen before but I knew that I wanted to be a part of it. I knew that by joining the team, I would need complete dedication especially since I would be joining so late in my school career.
Although I knew it would be a challenge , I decided to join the Pennsbury Falconettes synchronized swim team in 2008. From daily practices and workouts, our team worked hard to compete in the East Zone meets.
Within 2 years on the team, I was given the opportunity to compete in the United States National Synchronized Swimming Championships in Tonawanda, New York. My decision of joining the team is something I take pride in. I learned that I can achieve anything I set my mind to.

Travel
Ever since I was young, I have been traveling from place to place and it has shaped who I am today. So far, I have been to 15 of the 50 states and to Australia, Asia, North America and Europe. I hope to one day visit Africa and South America.
I enjoy taking trips to different places as it gives me a new perspective of looking at things and helps me to better understand the different types of people and cultures in the world.

Art
I am designing a web page or painting a new landscape, my creativity has always been present. With a tendency to take almost
anything in hopes of transforming it into something else, my creativity has progressively advanced. I like to work in various different mediums from paintings to three dimensional pieces.
I also enjoy designing as I am always filled with thoughts on how I could personalize things and make it more individualistic.

Dance
I started to dance when I was 10 years old and instantly loved it. At first, I began with ballet for about a year but quickly transitioned into learning Bollywood dance . I soon wanted to try different forms so I managed to also dance Jazz. I ended up favoring Jazz the most as it encompassed quicker movements and techniques. I believe that my love for dance arose from the creative aspect of this art, dance gave me the chance to be creative on stage.
