IBIT, the Institute for Business and Information Technology, hosted a webinar on April 27th with panelists discussing the state of IT, jobs following the pandemic, and what the future may look like. I learned about opportunities during the ongoing digital transformation of business following COVID-19 from panelists like Sondra Barbour, Himesh Bhise, Larry Dignan, and George Llado. This webinar showed that Information Technology and Information Systems are becoming increasingly important, as employees start to work from home and need to adapt to using new technologies to communicate and work on teams without meeting in person.
