Hobbies and Interests
Music- Throughout high school I was involved in various musical groups. I sang in a choir at my church from the second grade onward, sometimes getting to sing solo’s or duets, along with participating in church musicals and choir festivals, along with other special events. Also, I started playing violin in the fourth grade and played throughout high school taking private lessons and was a part of the first violin section in my high school orchestra.
Sports- I started basketball in the second grade and played every year since then. In high school I started playing for the junior varsity team, as well as playing in an outside league. I also used to play tennis as well and I still play recreationally with my friends and family whenever I get the chance.
Church- My faith is something that is very important to me as an individual and both my parents and I are very active within our congregation. I have been to many christian retreats with my church, the biggest being a gathering of 5000 people at Purdue University over the summer. Whenever I’m at home I make it a point to attend church regularly.
