Alexion Analytics Challenge
This past semester, my group and I participated in Alexion’s Analytics Challenge. For this project, we created a visualization to find if there’s a correlation between the amount of funding provided and the number of successful trials per disease. Our group decided to take the top 10 highest funded and 10 top lowest funded studies to create a line graph for both instances. As a result, we found that lymphoma, leukemia, cancer, acute myeloid leukemia, melanoma, multiple myeloma, brain and central nervous system tumors, ovarian cancer, cystic fibrosis, and glioblastoma had the most trials based on the data we were given.
