About Me
Background
I was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Growing up, I was heavily involved in playing soccer and the violin. I played in the U.S Soccer Development Academy league and had the opportunity to travel all over the east coast to play in the nation’s top youth soccer league. For the violin, I was enrolled in a private school called Pennsylvania Academy of Music where I received the top musical training offered in the area.
When I have free time, I would play competitive games on my gaming pc. My PC is capable of playing games more efficiently compared to the current generation of gaming consoles. Although it was expensive, I saved a lot of money in the long run because my PC requires minimal upgrades to play current games.
Skills
I had a lot of opportunities to develop my teamwork skills. Because I played soccer my whole life, I went through the highs and lows with my team. Soccer doesn’t have preset plays so we had to learn how to make decisions together in order to win our games. I learned that through communication, I was able to be on the same page and make key decisions to win games.
My MIS coursework at Temple introduced me to several technical skills. Through my experience with software such as MySQL and RStudio, I can incorporate my technical skills with my analytical skills to solve complex problems and improve the efficiency of systems.
Goals
My goal is to obtain full-time position after graduation where I can begin my professional career. I want to implement my experiences in a professional setting to make myself and my employer more profitable.
