The beginning of the seminar discussed how tech companies are reshaping businesses by changing the way the world interacts. Companies such as Uber, Facebook, and Netflix are all driving innovation around the consumer experience. After the introduction, the instructor talked about the different web development programs Thinkful has to offer. Thinkful provides each student with the support and structure to pursue a career in IT. Along with unlimited mock interviews, Thinkful offers a 1-on-1 mentorship with experienced professionals to help each student expand their network and improve their professional development. Once you graduate, a personal career coach will help you apply for positions from top companies in the area.
Because my career goal is to be a data analyst, I can invest in myself by taking a rigorous course with Thinkful to further develop my analytical skills. Taking this course will help me develop my interpersonal skills and focus on software such as SQL to make me more profitable.
