TUBC Blockchain & AI Workshop
This event was for learning more about blockchain coding and its effects in AI and model training. We discussed how decentralization of data sets would help train AI models and increase efficiency and quality of models, propelling developments in AI tremendously. This event was sponsored by TUBC and my role was just to listen and ask questions about some things that were unclear. In this event, I learned more about how blockchain could help AI and thus help business practices. One example we talked about was if there were 2 hospitals who wanted to compare data without revealing private patient data. The hospitals could use encrypted data sets through blockchain, making it possible to analyze data and train an AI model. This would prevent the hospitals from breaking privacy laws.
