Hobbies/Interests
I believe very strongly in John Logan’s quote, “Music is the medicine of the mind”. I listen to a wide variety, but some of my favorite bands/ artists include Paramore, Lana del Rey, Eminem, Lorde, Monsters of Men, The Lumineers and Imagine Dragons among many others.
Reading is another escape of mine although it is sometimes difficult to find that extra time.
Besides my travels in Europe, North Wildwood’s beach is my closest thing to paradise. Some complain about the long beaches and the crowded boardwalk, but I love it. I grew up visiting N. Wildwood every year due to my grand-pop owning a small house a few blocks from the boardwalk. Not to mention around the corner sits one of the best breakfast places on Earth, Samuels, in my opinion. I am not sure if any breakfast can beat a Belgian waffle covered in real, fresh strawberries, chocolate chips and whipped cream, which brings me to another one of my hobbies, eating. I’ve loved to cook since I was little, as well as eat and try new foods.
I love playing sports and used to be very competitive. Until about the fifth grade, I was very involved in gymnastics with my favorite event being bars. In both grade school and high school I was on the school basketball team and played travel. I was also on the school volleyball team and was captain for a few years. Now that I am no longer a member of a team, I enjoy playing basketball in a game of rough, just shooting around, or bumping around a volleyball. I also always love a good game of beach volleyball.
I adore my family and friends and would be nowhere without them. It’s always nice being able to spend time with them
