Career Aspirations
Ever since I was little, I always loved cars. I loved tinkering, working, fixing vehicles. When I was younger, I always wanted to become a mechanic and work with something I love, but as I started to get older, I started realizing that I’m secluding myself from a lot of different opportunities by simply choosing a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm job. I changed my mindset and started thinking from a business standpoint. Why should I be working as a dirty mechanic when I can be an owner of a mechanical shop and have people work for me instead. Having a mindset of a true businessman is what motivated me to major in business management at the Fox School of Business.
My short-term goal however, is to find a second major of interest and to graduate from the Fox School of Business with a bachelors degree. As for long-term, after gaining experience in the workforce, I plan to expand my knowledge by perusing higher education and eventually opening my own business or a firm.
