Volunteer Work
Myself and my fellow mates holding the official letter of thanks given to us by FISU (July 2013)
Due of my fluency in Russian and English, I had the privilege to serve as a volunteer at the 27th Summer Universiade that took place in Kazan, Russia in 2013. I’ve welcomed, met and spoke to official representatives and guests from over 160 different countries. I also had the opportunity to speak to some of the official partners and sponsors of the 27th Universiade. Representatives from worldwide know companies such as: Panasonic, McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Tissot, etc. Overall, it was a great experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat if an opportunity like that ever presented itself. At the ending ceremony, I’ve received an official Letter of Thanks from Claude-Louis Gallien, president of FISU (International University Sports Federation).
